3 arrested for defrauding 500,000,000 by saying that they will send them to work abroad

The police have arrested 3 people on the charge of cheating by saying that they will be sent to different countries by the lure of attractive salary for foreign employment.

Among those arrested are Urusha Kshetri who lives in Lalitpur Mahalakshmi Municipality-10 and Kathmandu Metropolitan City-31, Kedar Dhungana who lives in Nuwakot Vidur Municipality-5 and Kathmandu Metropolitan City-32 and Poshanraj Gharti Kshetri who lives in Dang Tulsipur Sub-Metropolitan City-6.

According to the police, among those arrested, Urusha took 8.8 lakh rupees from the victims saying he would send them to Canada, Kedar said he would send them to Maldives, and Poshanraj took 34 lakh 50 thousand rupees from the victims saying he would send them to Japan.

Based on the complaint of the victims, they were arrested by a team assigned from the Kathmandu Valley Crime Investigation Office Teku . Among the arrested, Urusha and Kedar have been sent to the Foreign Employment Department Tahchal and Poshanraj to District Police Complex Kathmandu for necessary investigation and action, the police said.
