Kathmandu Metropolitan City issued a notice to register dogs and cats

The Kathmandu Metropolitan City has issued a notice to keep dogs and cats only after they are registered and microchipped within the ward.

After receiving complaints that dogs and cats were stolen, lost and abandoned within the metropolitan area, the metropolis has issued a notice to adopt microchips and register them at the ward office. 

"People/organizations who sell dogs/cats from or within the metropolitan area have been informed to distribute the sale only by microchipping," said the notice issued by the metropolis.  Kathmandu Metropolitan City issued a notice to register dogs and cats

According to Schedule 3 of Dog/Cat Sterilization, Vaccination and Records Procedure, 2080, the metropolis has requested to register dogs and cats .
