16 people arrested in Khadkagaon gang fight case

Police have arrested 16 people in the incident of killing one person using a sharp weapon in Khadka village.

A 23-year-old Abhay alias Abe Tamang of Dolakha was killed in a gang fight between two groups. Apilraj Bohora, Deputy Inspector of Police, District Police Complex, Kathmandu informed that 16 people have been detained for investigation in the case.

On Monday, Tamang was killed in a fight between two groups over an old Receipt in Khadkagaon, Kathmandu Metropolitan City-14.

According to Bohora, those arrested are 21-year-old Ashish Shrestha of Parsa, who is called the main Nike, along with Daniel Vishwakarma of Sindhuli, Nischal Blon Tamang of Sarlahi, Sushan Shrestha of Sunsari and Pravesh Gurung.

Similarly Sujan Tamang of Dhading, Vinay Ale Magar, Debid Ghale of Kathmandu, Raj Aryal, Ajit Budhathoki and Rohit Khadka, Ranjit Shrestha of Gorkha,  They are Prabin Zedi from Nawalparasi East, Gaitam Kamar from Tanahun, Khemraj Bahadur Magar from Udaipur and Sange Tamang.

Those arrested are between the ages of 19 and 25. The police are investigating after receiving a five-day deadline from the Kathmandu District Court.
