11 Indians arrested for betting and dealing in dematerialized currency

Police from Kathmandu have arrested 11 Indian citizens on charges of betting and dealing in dematerialized currency. The police arrested them based on the information that they had rented a house in Budhanilkanth Municipality Ward No-3 Deula Tol and engaged in online gambling (betting) and non-physical currency transactions.

According to District Police Complex Information Officer Police Superintendent Raj Bohra, those arrested are Rajasthan's Sunny Meena, Mohit Verma, Pius Bhardwaj, Harkesh Dadaiya, Nishant Bhardwaj, Akash Verma, Ankit Kumar Saini, Sanju Shakla, Ramsingh Jath, Lokesh Kumar and  Vikash Kumar is there.

During the initial investigation, Bohora informed that they had engaged in gambling and gambling online with a turnover of more than 2 billion, while they had traded in intangible currency worth more than 9633,000.

Those arrested are between 19 and 26 years old. The police also seized 34 mobile phones, 5 laptops, 4 note books, 14 Indian bank account check books, 27 ATM cards and 40 Indian SIM cards from them. Bohora said that they are being investigated by the Kathmandu District Court with a deadline of seven days.
