Dipesh Lal Chitrakar, who was trying to sell gold jewelery without a bill, has been arrested by the police. A 41-year-old painter from Nuwakot Vidur Municipality 5, who lives in Kalanki, Kathmandu, was arrested by Swayambhu Police when he was trying to sell gold jewelry without a bill.
According to District Police Complex Kathmandu SP Appelraj Bohra, he was taken into custody on Tuesday from Kathmandu Metropolitan City-15 Swayambhu Anandkuti. Police recovered from him 11 Naugedi Malas, 7 Single Gedi Malas, 13 Crystal Malas, 6 Mangalsutras, 3 Tops, 9 Clips, 3 Pearl Malas, Rings 24, fully 19, Gedi recovered three.
Similarly, Bohra informed that 1/1 of soli gedi mala, tilhari, locket mala, motihar was recovered. According to Bohra, the Revenue Investigation Department has been sent to Lalitpur for further investigation of the arrested painter and the recovered materials.
