District 3292 of Rotary, a social organization whose network has spread in 230 countries of the world, District Conference of Nepal-Bhutan is going to be held in Lalitpur from Chait 8 to 3 days.
Governor of Rotary District 3292 Rajendraman Sherchan informed that more than 1,500 members of 157 clubs from Nepal and one from Bhutan will participate in this conference. Different sessions will be conducted by local and foreign experts in the conference. In the program District report and future plans will be discussed. The conference chair Madhusudan Acharya informed that the
program will also select the district governor for the Rotary year 2027/28. Former Governor of Rotary District 3292 Santosh Rizal, Sanjay Giri, Governor Nominee Bishnu Bahadur Karki and others answered the questions of the media persons in the press conference.
Rotary has been working in social fields including polio eradication, health projects, clean drinking water and environment, and education. The Rotary Club, which started in America in 1905, has been started in Nepal since 1958. Currently, about 6,000 people are affiliated to the Rotary Club in Nepal.
