Kathmandu Metropolitan City is going to take action if it is found that school admission has not started before the academic session has started.
After receiving complaints that some schools in the city have admitted students before the academic session has started, the city has issued a notice not to admit students before the academic session has started.
"In Rule 48 of Rule 48 (6) of Kathmandu Metropolitan City School Education Management Regulations, 2074, it is requested that no one enrolls students before the start of the academic session," the notice published on Chait 4 states, "If found violating the said regulations, action will be taken according to the prevailing law."
