On Saturday night, a fire broke out in a tin shed where people sleep near Hasantar border in Suchatar, Nagarjun Municipality-7, Kathmandu.

The house where Krishnahari Shrestha's family lives has been completely damaged by the fire. However, there was no human loss, Information Officer of District Police Complex Kathmandu SP Apil Bohra informed. According to him, the fire that started at 9:40 pm was brought under control one hour later.  

According to the police, wooden furniture, drawers, sofas, couches, clothes, vinegar, dasna, carpets, and household goods were damaged in the fire. The zinc and iron of Tahoro have also been destroyed by fire. According to preliminary estimates, the police informed that the fire caused a loss of around 1.5 million rupees.

The fire brigade and tankers were used in the activation of Nepal Police and Sasthaniya.

The cause of the fire has not yet been revealed, but the police said that further investigation is underway.
