According to Police Circle Maharajganj, on Saturday afternoon at 14:25 in the road section at Tokha-1 Phulbari Gate, Ba.P.02.039 P.9828 and  Ba. Q. Motorcycle No. 02-053 P 6378 collided.  Acharya, the motorcycle driver of No. 6378, died during treatment at the Grandi Hospital in Dhapasi, the police said.

Another motorcyclist, 28-year-old Pradeep Tiwari, who hails from Bhojpur Pavadumna Rural Municipality-2 and currently resides in Bhaktapur Dera, is being treated at the same hospital. The police said that his condition is serious. 

Locals demonstrated on the streets after the incident. It is said that both the vehicles have been taken into custody by Tokha Police Department.
