The man who fell into the well was rescued by the police. 43-year-old Satish Shah, a resident of Campus Road, Kailali Dhangadhi sub-metropolitan city-8, fell into the well on Friday morning.

He was a tenant of Uttam Aryal's house on Bidyapati Marg, Shankhamul, Kathmandu Metropolitan City 10, when he fell into the well when the cement lid broke while he was fixing the clothes drying line.

According to local Chetan Kandel, Shah was taken out of a well about 30 feet deep and taken to the civil hospital at Meen Bhavan for treatment. Now his condition is normal.
