District Police Complex Kathmandu has arrested 53 people with drugs in one month. Police Superintendent of Police Apelraj Bohra informed that police arrested 47 men including 6 women with drugs from 15th January to 15th February.
According to him, at the same time, the police found 22 kg of 574 grams of marijuana, 1 kg of 500 grams of hashish, 2 kg of 594 grams of Poland, 115 grams of 48.23 milligrams of heroin, 367 grams of amphetamine ice, 1 thousand 387 tablets and 217 ampoules of synthetic drugs have also been seized.
As part of the anti-narcotics campaign for a safe valley, the campaign was conducted by the Police Complex Kathmandu.
Bohra informed that the campaign was conducted with special surveillance on drug trafficking and dealing groups. "We are investigating those who distribute drugs." Bohra said, "We will not be able to reach the users if there is no distribution." Bohra informed Kantipur that this campaign will continue.
According to Bohar, now along with the distributors, porters and users have also come under control. "We have created a special team and focused the research," he said.
