Police Circle Swayambhu has arrested a youth with drugs. 26-year-old Arjun Shrestha, who lives in Kathmandu, was arrested by the police along with 1,560 ampoules of different types of drugs.

Superintendent of Police, District Police Complex, Kathmandu, Appelraj Bohra informed that they found 540 ampoules of diazepam, 520 ampoules of phenergan, and 500 ampoules of talgesic buprenorphine hidden in his house in Nagarjun Municipality-3, Single Tree.

The police have also recovered a mobile phone from his room. According to Bohra, Shrestha is being investigated further with permission from the Kathmandu District Court for five days. District Police Complex Kathmandu has arrested 53 people including 6 women with drugs during one month period from January 15 to February 15.
