The young man was arrested at Farping check post with prohibited drugs. 450 ampoules of narcotic drugs were found from the bag carried by 26-year-old Samsad Alam, a resident of Ghoghaldia, Kalaiya sub-municipality-11, Bara at Dakshinkali municipality-5 Farping check post. Alam was coming to Kathmandu in a Tata Sumo Jeep from Kalaiya in Bara.

According to Police Superintendent Appelraj Bohra of District Police Complex Kathmandu, District Police Office Pharping found Diazepam, Noofin and Phenergan 150/150 ampoules in Alam's bag. Bohra informed that Alam has been given an extension of five days by Kathmandu District Court and further investigation has been started.
