Kathmandu Metropolitan City has started training 180 city policemen to manage traffic. The city police force of the metropolis has started training traffic management to city police constables and city police jawans from Sunday.
The training, which started at the National Assembly House, was divided into three groups and each group will have 60 city policemen, according to the metropolis. Internal classes of training will be theoretical and external classes will be practical. According to
metropolis, in the theoretical class, along with the provisions of the Vehicle and Traffic Management Act, 2049 and Regulations 2054, traffic terminology, signs and symbols and road furniture, road safety and safe travel will be provided.
