Kathmandu Metropolitan City Mayor Balendra Shah 'Balen' has said that he is ready to face anyone for good governance. Posting a status on social networking site Facebook on Monday, he said that he will not compromise to maintain good governance and will implement good governance in the country.
I am ready to fight with anyone for good governance, but I will not compromise. I will leave after maintaining good governance,' he wrote on social media. He also said that he is a partner in the development of the federal government. He wrote, 'All the development work we did was done during your tenure.'
Mayor Shah has also asked Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli to share for development by freeing himself from prejudice. He further wrote, 'No matter how much confusion is spread, we will not bow down to your corrupt workers .'
Mayor Shah has also made a strong comment that the present government has spread confusion against him and if it is possible to give the title of Vidyavaridhi to the present government.
Similarly, Mayor Shah claims that confusion has been spread that the investigation report on chief administrative officer Saroj Guragai was hidden. He has written, 'It had to be hidden, didn't it. The illusion is being spread that the report has not been made, it has been hidden.' Earlier, the Kathmandu Metropolitan City had said that it would investigate Saroj Guragai, the chief administrative officer. For passing the map without completing the official process, the Metropolitan Corporation said that it will proceed with the investigation against the Chief Administrative Officer Guragai.
