On the occasion of Mahashivratri, two people have been arrested for stealing mobile phones of devotees who came to Pashupati area.
Temporary Police Wit, Gumba Balaju Police have detained 31-year-old Bijay Magar and 34-year-old Abhishek Gurung of Gorkha along with 10 mobile phones.
According to District Police Complex Information Officer Police Superintendent Appel Raj Bohra, they were arrested on the night of Mahashivratri from Kathmandu 16 Balaju near Basantnagar Gumba. The police recovered from them mobile phones of 10 different companies, Rs 4,000 in cash and a black back bag.
Bohra informed that the police circle Gaushala has taken five days permission from the district court to take necessary action and the investigation is continuing.
