16 people who were injured in an accident on Wednesday afternoon in a student bus number Ba 2 B 7958 on the road in Kattike, Shankharapur Municipality-5, are being treated in various hospitals. Out of which, the condition of one person is critical, District Police Complex Kathmandu Spokesperson Superintendent of Police Apelraj Bohra informed.
According to him, the seriously injured have been taken to Medicity Hospital for further treatment. 27 of the injured in the
accident were treated on Thursday have returned home. According to him, the bus carrying students of Sathya Sai Academy met with an accident while returning from a picnic in Nagarkot. 11-year-old Krischal Puri, resident of Urlabari Municipality-7, Morang, Suresh Tamang, 23, resident of Balefi Rural Municipality-7, Sindhupalchok, and 14-year-old Shushank Dotel, resident of Tripurasundari Rural Municipality-3, Sindhupalchok, died in the accident which fell 20 feet from the road on Wednesday. All three of them are students.
Krischal, who was seriously injured in the accident, died at Maharajganj Teaching Hospital, Suresh at Nepal Medical College and Shushank died at Shakharapur Hospital. Spokesperson Bohra said that the injured are being treated at KMC, NMC, Teaching Hospital, Helping Hand and People's Life Care Hospital. He also said that the bus driver was arrested and investigated.
