Kathmandu Metropolitan City has provided free legal services to 52 thousand 740 beneficiaries. The city has provided free legal services to that number of city residents in three years.

This information was given at the launch of the book 'Nyaya Samiti: Digdarshan' organized by the city on Tuesday.  In the

event, Sapna Malla Pradhan, senior judge of the Supreme Court, Metropolitan Chief Balendra Shah, Special Court Kathmandu President Teknarayan Kunwar, Constitutionalist Kashiraj Dahal, Metropolitan Deputy Chief Sunita Dangol jointly released the book of direction . In the program, Metropolitan Chief Shah administered the oath to the listed 125 conciliators.

The metropolis organized the first national conference of the Judicial Committee on Chait 15 and 16, 2079. The conference was organized with the aim of sharing the work done by the Judicial Committee, the successes achieved, the problems and challenges faced and the exchange of experiences. 

The metropolis has stated that the guidelines of the conference to direct the direction of the judicial committee include the way and process. It is said that the vision will guide the common path to be followed by the committee even among geographical, social and economic diversity.
