Management of seven metric tons of non-biodegradable waste

Under the leadership of Kathmandu Metropolitan City-10, seven metric tons of non-biodegradable waste has been cleaned and managed in the river and banks of Buddhanagar Wagmati Bridge (in front of UN Park).

Ward No. 10's Acting Ward President Sunita Indrakoti and Member Satis Tandukar, in conjunction with the cleaning and management of seven metric tons of non-perishable garbage in that area, informed Kishore Singh Shahi, a Wagmati cleaning campaigner. 

Narayan Prasad Bhandari, the Project Director of Empowered Oratory Civilization Integrated Development Committee, and other staff members, Kamanpa Ward No. 11 President Hiralal Tandukar, Rotary Club of Kathmandu Heritage President Hema Adhikari and other officials,  Employees of Kamanpa Ward No. 10, Megh Ale, President of the River Protection Organization, Leelamani Paudyal, the chief campaigner of the Wagmati Clean-up campaign, were active in the clean-up. He said that the garbage collected from today's cleaning was put in the truck of Kathmandu Metropolitan City Environment Department and managed.

Narayan Kumar Shrestha, a board member of Muktinath Bikas Bank, asked for a clean  On behalf of the bank, masks and gloves were donated to the Bagmati Safi Mahabhiyan. According to the cleanliness campaign, preparations have been made for the next week's cleaning under the coordination of Kamanpa Ward No. 6.

The Bagmati Safi Mahabhiyan, which started on 5th June 2070, continues every week on Saturday morning for two hours. To help the clean-up campaign, for the past three weeks, the wards bordering the Wagmati River of Kathmandu Metropolitan City have been leading the clean-up.
