A fire broke out in the 'Home Appliances' warehouse at Asan Chowk in Kathmandu around 3.30 pm on Thursday afternoon.
DSP Purnima Kumari Chand, Spokesperson of District Police Complex Kathmandu, informed that the fire broke out in the electronics warehouse on the ground floor of a seven and a half storey building on the way from Asan Chowk to Mahabuddha Mandir. The said house belongs to Ishwar Dangol.
After receiving information about the incident, Nepal Police, Armed Police and Nepali Army teams were deployed to control the fire Chand said. The damage caused by the fire and the cause of the fire are yet to be revealed.
