Absconding defendant Sudha Basnet has been arrested in the banking crime case. 57-year-old Basnet, a resident of Maharajgunj, Kathmandu Metropolitan City-3, was arrested by the police on Monday.

The High Court, Patan, Lalitpur had given a verdict of Rs. Since then she was on the run. 

The police team deployed from Kathmandu Valley Crime Investigation Office, Teku arrested Basnet from Maharajgunj area. After his arrest, he has been submitted to the High Court, Patan, Lalitpur for execution of the verdict.
