On Wednesday, the police arrested 36-year-old Samya Gautam, a resident of Kathmandu Nagarjuna Municipality-8, on the charge of defrauding money by saying that he would send money to Lithuania under the lure of attractive salary in foreign employment.

Based on the complaint of the victims that Gautam took 11 lakh rupees from the 3 victims saying that he would send them to Lithuania and remained incommunicado, the police deputed from the Kathmandu Valley Crime Investigation Office Teku arrested him from Kathmandu Metropolitan City-15. 

He has been sent to Foreign Employment Department Tahachal Kathmandu for necessary investigation and action.
