Milan Acharya, who is absconding after the Balkot incident, has himself appeared at the police office. He was present at the Maharajganj police circle on Tuesday morning.  According to police sources, he has confessed that he himself killed his father and brother.

The bodies of 56-year-old Kulprasad Acharya and his 22-year-old younger son Praveen Acharya were found in the room of their house in Suryavinayak Municipality-2, Balkot Fikadhartol on Monday  was

'When we broke the door on Monday morning, the father and the younger son were dead. Their bodies were in two separate rooms,'  Spokesman of District Police Complex Bhaktapur DSP Dhundiraj Neupane said.

The body of the younger son was on the bed in the room where the kitchen was made, while the body of the father was in another room. Both father and son have injuries in the lower part of their ears. The police also said that hair and blood were found on the dumbbells and dumbbells found in the room.  Acharya's two sons had been camping in the ground floor room of the three-story house for 3 years. 

The Acharya family is a permanent resident of Khotang's Diktel Rupakot Majhuwagadhi Municipality. The deceased Kul Prasad Acharya was the Acting Head (Nasu) of District Post Office Khotang. His elder son Milan was preparing for public service while his younger son Praveen was studying B.Sc.
