Police have arrested two people on the charge of indecent behavior after the final match of Nepal Premier League (NPL).
According to District Police Complex Kathmandu, 21-year-old Ashok Saud of Adarsh Rural Municipality-2 of Doti district and resident of Kirtipur-8 Panga and 19-year-old Ganesh Saud of Doti and Dipayal Silagadi 1 of Doti and resident of Kirtipur-7 Bhajangal were arrested.
After the final match between Janakpur Bolts and Sudurpaschim Royals, they are accused of trying to spoil the communal harmony by using insulting words and behaving rudely to various people.
They were taken into custody on Sunday evening while investigating through various agencies, media and based on the complaints of the victims. According to the District Police Office, Kathmandu, the search for other persons related to the incident is ongoing.
