The police have arrested two people who cheated 36 lakh rupees by saying 'I will send them to Israel and Malaysia'. Among those arrested are 28-year-old Kishan Kumal of Gorkha Palungtar Municipality-7 Changli and resident of Tokha Greenland and 33-year-old Khadka of Basundhara resident of Khotang Diprang Chuichumma Rural Municipality-2.
According to the police, among those arrested, Kumal took 33 lakh 50 thousand rupees from 4 victims saying 'I will send them to Israel' and Khadka took 250 thousand rupees from 1 victim saying 'I will send them to Malaysia' and became incommunicado.
They were arrested by the police assigned from Kathmandu Valley Crime Investigation Office Teku on the basis of a complaint. According to the police, they have been sent to Foreign Employment Department Tahachal Kathmandu for necessary investigation and action.
