Cast Watch Network (CWN) has announced the Social Justice Awards. On Saturday, in connection with the organization's first anniversary, CWN has announced a social justice award worth Rs 50,000 to be distributed from the coming year.
Mitra Pariyar, president of CWN, informed that the award has been established to reward a writer who has contributed to the struggle, injustice and justice of the Dalit community.
According to him, the award will be given to one person every year from among the authors of any literature, article or book regarding the injustice, struggles and difficulties faced by the Dalit community.
He said that amid the changing political situation of the country, the Dalit community is not in a position to get liberation and justice, and now separate Dalit struggle is necessary. He said that Dalit literature and writing should be emphasized for that too.
