The police have released 2 people who were arrested on the charge of defrauding money by saying that they would send money to different countries under the lure of attractive salary in foreign employment. Among those arrested are Jwalaram Musyakhwa, a resident of Bhaktapur Municipality-10 Kamalvinayak and Buddhi Bahadur Basyal, a resident of Grandi, Kathmandu Tokha Municipality-6 and a resident of Rupandehi Butwal Sub-Metropolitan Municipality-13 Nayagaon.
According to the police, among those arrested, Jwalaram took 200,000 rupees from the victim saying he would send them to Australia and Buddhi Bahadur took 190,000 rupees from the victim saying he would send them to Dubai.
Based on the complaint of the victims, they were arrested on Wednesday by the police deployed from the Kathmandu Valley Crime Investigation Office Teku.
They have been sent to Foreign Employment Department Tahachal Kathmandu for necessary investigation and action, police said.
