On the occasion of the 69th Police Day organized by the Provincial Police Office, Hetaunda, Amar Shaheed's family was honored.

In a program organized in Hetaunda on Tuesday, the families of the martyrs who lost their lives while on duty were honored by wearing dosalla with cash. Krishnahari Sharma, Deputy Inspector General of Police, State Police Office, Hetaunda, honored the family of Police Constable Shivan Kumar Chepang of Makwanpur Raksirang Village-5 who died while carrying out his duties at Sindhupalchowk on 20th August 2080 by covering him with a dosalla with Rs 60,000.

Police constable Chepang died when he was hit by a scooter while patrolling on foot from Kodari market towards Liping. In that event, more than a dozen families of martyrs were honored by wearing dosalla  .  

Superintendent of Police Durgaraj Regmi of Provincial Police Office Hetaunda welcomed the participants in the program.
