Three people who cheated by saying that they will be sent to foreign employment were arrested

The police have arrested three people on the charge of cheating by saying that they will be sent to foreign jobs with attractive salary facilities.

Shashi Lama, 42, resident of Panchthar Miklajung Rural Municipality-7, resident of Kathmandu Makalbari, 32-year-old Roshni Vishwakarma, resident of Ranibari, Kathmandu, and Sindhuli Kamalamai Municipality-7, resident of Bhaktapur, were accused of defrauding the money by saying that the police would send it to Croatia, Dubai and other countries. 25-year-old Ganesh Bahadur Shrestha, resident of Suryavinayak Municipality-6, was arrested.

Among those arrested, Shashi took 365 thousand rupees from 1 victim, Roshni 1 lakh 2 thousand rupees from 1 victim and Ganesh 2 lakh 10 thousand rupees from 1 victim, police said.

Based on the complaint of the victims, the police deployed from Kathmandu Valley Crime Investigation Office Teku arrested Shashi from Kathmandu Sitapaila, Roshni from Kathmandu Government Dhara and Ganesh from Lalitpur Jhamsikhel.   

They have been sent to Foreign Employment Department Tahachal Kathmandu for necessary investigation and action, the police said.
