Huawei Nepal has introduced the concept of ‘Agentic Communication Networks’, an AI-based network operating system. At the recently held ‘Mini MWC 2026’ event in Kathmandu, Huawei mentioned that agentic communication networks will be effective in making telecommunication networks more stable, efficient and automated. The company stated that AI and new generation network technology were discussed at the event. Huawei presented a strategy to connect AI and telecommunication businesses in Nepal with the slogan ‘Now is Yours’. At the event, Huawei presented the concepts of AI for Networks and Networks for AI.
Similarly, 5G advanced technology and fiber healthcare concepts were also discussed. The company’s analysts gave a presentation on AI-centric optical networks at the event. The company said it aims to increase bandwidth, reduce latency and reduce energy consumption.
Huawei also introduced ‘single site power’ and ‘energy storage systems’. It said in a statement that it will coordinate solar energy, lithium energy storage and telecommunications equipment.
