The Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry has received the British Council Going Global Partnership Award 2025. The federation received the award for its contribution to green skills development and collaboration between the public and private sectors in Nepal.
The award was announced during the Going Global 2025 conference held in London on October 28. On that occasion, Secretary Chudamani Sharma of the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology received the award on behalf of the Nepali partners.
Secretary Sharma handed over the award to the Director General of the Federation, Gokarna Raj Awasthi, at the inaugural ceremony of the first Green Skills Advisory Board (GSAB) in Nepal.
Secretary Poudel said that the award recognized the excellent partnership between the UK and Nepalese organizations and expected further progress in the field of green skills in the coming days.
The Going Global Partnership Award was presented to the effective, distinctive and inspiring projects supported by the organization on the occasion of the fifth anniversary of the British Council's Going Global Partnership Program.
