Ncell has continued its partnership with the Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) in the second edition of the Nepal Premier League (NPL) 2025.
Ncell has announced the continuation of its partnership with ‘Powered by’. It is believed that this association with Nepali cricket will contribute to the development of Nepali cricket and provide additional energy to the game and the fans.
Since the game of cricket connects everyone, Ncell has collaborated with this grand festival with the theme ‘United by Cricket, Connected by Ncell’. The second edition is starting from 1 Mangsir at the Tribhuvan University International Cricket Ground in Kirtipur. Ncell was also a ‘Powered by’ partner in the professional franchise-based T20 tournament NPL last year.
‘The competition presents cricket talent with a unique combination of local and international players from Nepal’s provinces. NPL reflects Ncell’s association with sports and highlights the unbreakable bond between sports and Nepal. Ncell’s philosophy of always connecting Nepal and its consumers is in line with its passion and enthusiasm for cricket,” Ncell said in a statement.’
‘The recent T20 performances have made all Nepalis proud. Today, cricket is not only the nation’s greatest hope, but also the game that unites us all,’ said Upang Dutt, Chief Consumer Business Officer, NPL. ‘Therefore, we are delighted to collaborate as a ‘Powered by’ partner on this grand cricket festival with the theme ‘United by Cricket, Connected by Ncell’.’
This partnership is not only limited to promoting sports talent in Nepal but also for the spectators and fans who make such competitions a success, Ncell said.
Continuing our collaboration for the development of cricket, CAN Secretary Paras Khadka said that they are very happy to have Ncell as a 'powered by' partner in the second edition of NPL.
'This game connects everyone, so we are excited. Preparations have also reached the final stage. Such collaborations and games are of great importance in establishing Nepali cricket and NPL in the world,' he said, 'The Nepal Cricket Association is grateful for Ncell's support in the development and promotion of sports.'
