Pashupatidev Pandey has been elected unopposed as the president of Nepal Readymade Garment Industry Association. Under the leadership of Pandey, the director of Pure Clothing, a new working committee of the Ready Apparel Industry Association has been selected for the next two years.
Pandey, who is also a member of the executive committee of the Federation of Nepal Chamber of Commerce and Industry, was also the president of the association earlier. Chandi Prasad Aryal has been elected as the outgoing president of the association, Basantraj Adhikari (Himalayan Cotton Fashion and International Pvt. Ltd.) as the first vice president and Bhupendra Kumar Basnet (Vidya Apparels Pvt. Ltd.) as the vice president.
Likewise, Bhimkumar Giri (Black Fashion E. Pvt. Ltd.) has been elected as the general secretary, Thomnath Basyal (United Fashion Knitting E. Pvt. Ltd.) as the joint secretary, and Sanjay Kumar Agarwal (Heritage Fashion) has been elected as the treasurer.
Besides, Krishna Prasad Pandey (Transtrip Garment Ltd. Pvt. Ltd.), Sureshman Shrestha (Jampha Knitting Industries), Hirakaji Muktan (Logo Fashion Pvt. Ltd.), Satis Giri (Anujit Apparels), Sachindra Pradhanang (Himalayan Knit Wear) and Ramesh Kumar Karn have been elected as working committee members respectively.
