A meeting was held between Kenya's non-paid consul for Nepal, Chandra Tandon, and His Excellency Shanil Nepal, the Nepalese ambassador to Spain.In the meeting, the strategies needed to attract foreign direct investment were discussed.

Establishing formal networks to support remittance investment in productive sectors and technology transfer, promoting Nepal as a top destination for adventure tourism, cultural heritage and spiritual retreats were discussed.

There were discussions between the two sides on the problem solving and protection of the rights and interests of the Nepalese migrants living in Spain, as well as the effective plan to promote Nepali products in Spain.

The institutional relationship between Nepali Mission in Spain and CNI was also discussed. Tandon is the founder of City Express Money Transfer and Chairman of the Global Business and Diaspora Committee.
