A memorandum of understanding has been signed between Computer Association Nepal Federation (CAN) and Information Technology Committee of Nepal Chamber of Commerce (NCC). It is mentioned in the statement that initiatives will be taken to strengthen the digital economy of Nepal and to promote and develop the information technology sector.
The partnership is expected to take the development of the IT industry to new heights through advocacy, investment, networking and joint initiatives. The main goal of the agreement is to promote a sustainable and collaborative ecosystem in Nepal's IT industry, the statement said.
Both organizations will engage in constructive policy dialogue with the Government of Nepal and recommend a joint IT policy to promote Nepal's digital transformation and submit policies and digital frameworks.
