An agreement between the Confederation and Nepal University to link education and industry

A memorandum of understanding has been signed between the Confederation of Nepal Industry and Nepal University to cooperate in the interest of both parties with the main objective of connecting education and industry. Registrar Suryaraj Acharya on behalf of Nepal University and Director General Ghanshyam Ojha signed on behalf of Nepal University in the MoU signing program held on Wednesday in the confederation.

On that occasion, Rajesh Kumar Agarwal, President of the Confederation, said that production of skilled manpower is the need of the moment. He believes that Nepal University, established on a new concept, will contribute to the production of skilled manpower as it is necessary to increase educational qualification but skilled learning.

He also has a commitment that the federation will work to connect the students studying in Nepal University with the industry. Bindu Lohani, Chancellor of Nepal University, said that the Confederation should help university students to get internships in industries for practical learning. Arjun Karki, the vice chancellor of the university said that the program will be introduced to develop good feelings in students along with skill, entrepreneurship, and innovation.
