Automobile importer in Nepal opened Naima

Auto traders who import vehicles in Nepal have officially announced the Nepal Automobiles Importers and Manufacturers Association (NAIMA). Naima was announced during a ceremony held in Kathmandu on Wednesday.

NAIMA is chaired by Ritu Singh Vaidya, Managing Director of United Traders Syndicate Pvt Ltd, the official dealer of Toyota cars. In addition, two former presidents of Naima NADA are also directors.

Shekhar Golcha, the former president of NADA and outgoing president of Federation of Nepal Industry and Commerce, is also a member of Naima. He is associated with Hansraj Hulas Chand & Company. Shekhar's company, who is the chairman of Golcha Group, has been assembling Bajaj, KTM and Triumph motorcycles in Nepal.

Similarly, the former president of NADA Saurabh Jyoti is also a director of Naima. Jyoti, the president of Syakar Trading, which sells and distributes Honda motorcycles and cars, has been assembling motorcycles and scooters in Nepal. Similarly, Nirakar Shrestha, director of Lakshmi Motor Corporation and Yamuna Shrestha, managing director of Cymex Inc. have also been elected as directors in this organization.

Cabinet Shrestha, Managing Director of Agni Incorporated, which sells Mahindra's passenger and light commercial vehicles, Suhyud Ghimire of Continental Trading, the official dealer of Kia and Isuzu, Sandeep Sarada from SPG Automobile Company, Hemant Golcha, Managing Director of Sangrila Motors and Nikunj Agarwal, owner of Paramount Motors, are also on the board of directors.
