Hospitality Sales and Marketing Association Nepal has been formed to strengthen the networking and collaboration of sales and marketing staff working in hotels and resorts.

In a special program held in Kathmandu, an 11-member committee was formed under the chairmanship of Robinson Maharjan. Of which Sanjeev Tuladhar has been elected as the vice president, Deepak Pokharel as the general secretary, Lakshmi Shrestha as the secretary and Ganesh Budhathoki as the treasurer. Umesh Shrestha, Kishore Paudel, Rajan Tuladhar, Prabha Ghising, Ramesh Pathak and Annie Manandhar have been selected as

members respectively. Rajkumar KC, Pradeep Poudel and Suresh Shrestha have been selected as advisors. Secretary General Deepak Pokharel informed that Ganesh Kuwar was selected as the legal advisor of the committee. According to

president Maharjan, the association will help to exchange information and encourage collaboration between sales and marketing staff working in hotels and resorts. Maharjan said, "The main objective of the association is to promote tourism, establish strong relationships among the members of the organization and ensure collective development and progress." 

It includes sales and marketing staff working in five-star hotels and tourism category hotels all over Nepal . With the formation of a new committee, the association aims to conduct the upcoming programs in a more orderly, organized and effective manner. On the occasion of the establishment of the association, a blood donation program was also organized at the premises of Crystal Pashupati in Gaushala, showing social responsibility. 26 people donated blood in the program.
