Telecommunication service provider Ncell has been honored for paying the highest corporate tax in the last financial year. Lalitpur Metropolitan Municipality honored Ncell as the best taxpayer on Tuesday.
In a program organized on the occasion of the 106th Foundation Day of Lalitpur Metropolitan City, Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli and Mayor of Lalitpur Metropolitan City Chiribabu Maharjan presented a certificate of appreciation to Jabbor Kayumov, Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of Ncell.
Lalitpur Metropolitan Corporation has said that Ncell has been awarded a certificate for contributing to the development and prosperity of Lalitpur Metropolitan Municipality by paying the most taxes. Ncell has been the highest tax paying company for a long time.
It is mentioned in the announcement that Ncell has paid more than 300 billion rupees to the government in various taxes and duties since its inception till last year 2080/81. Last year alone, the company filed 20.30 billion rupees in taxes and duties to the government. It is mentioned that the company has contributed more than 2 billion rupees under professional social responsibility.
