Citizens Bank International Awarded 'Bank of the Year-2024'

Citizens Bank International Limited has been honored with the world's prestigious 'Bank of the Year-2024' award in London.

Citizens Bank was awarded Bank of the Year 2024 at an event organized by The Financial Times in the United Kingdom (UK) on December 4.

Prawaljung Pandey, chairman of the bank's board of directors, and Ganeshraj Pokharel, the bank's chief executive officer, accepted the honor representing the bank. Bank presidents, chief executive officers and other officials from more than 100 countries participated in the

Bank, felt proud that the bank was able to receive the award of the prestigious Bank of the Year 2024, which is considered the Oscar of the banking sector, and said that this gave him the courage to provide more excellent technology-friendly modern banking services in the future.

Bank's Chief Executive Officer Ganeshraj Pokhrel said that with the support of the relevant agencies and the round-the-clock hard work of the employees,  Mentioning that it was possible to receive the award, he said that it provided strength to add to the service facilities.

The Financial Times annually awards the Bank of the Year in consideration of the performance and activities of banks in different countries.

Citizens Bank has recently launched 'Citizens' Virtual Credit Card' for the first time in Nepal in collaboration with PhonePay. The feature is that you can enjoy credit card facilities by scanning through mobile without physical card. The bank has been providing banking services to more than 1.8 million customers through its 197 branches, 162 ATMs, 3 extended counters and 74 branchless banking units spread across 60 districts.
