Three people have died and two others have been injured after a brick wall collapsed while they were removing bricks at the Krishna Brick Factory in Majurwa, Haripur Municipality-5, Sarlahi. The workers were buried when the wall collapsed while removing bricks from the brick kiln around 6 pm on Friday. 

As soon as the incident was reported, a team led by Police Inspector Shiva Katel from the Area Police Office, Haripur, reached the spot. The police team rescued the injured and immediately sent them to the Provincial Hospital, Malangwa. 

50-year-old Fitai Mansur of Ramban, Gaudaita Municipality-7, 35-year-old Shambhu Raut of Gaudaita-9, and 35-year-old Angad Kumar, a resident of Lakhempur, India, died during treatment, according to the District Police Office. 

32-year-old Tulsi Mahato of Malangwa Municipality-7 and 52-year-old Satyanarayan Mahato of Malangwa Municipality-7 were injured in the incident. Tulsi is undergoing treatment at the Provincial Hospital in Malangwa and Satyanarayan at a local clinic in Majurwa, informed Deputy Superintendent of Police Saroj Rai. The Area Police Office, Haripur, has stated that further search and clearance work is underway at the scene using JCB.
