The National Human Rights Commission has shown interest in the incident of inhumane treatment of a young man in Siraha by the ward chairperson and others. The commission's team reached Piparamama village in Aurahi Rural Municipality-3 and took information about the incident.

Last Monday, Aurahi-3 ward chairperson Jivachh Yadav and others beat and inhumanely treated local youth Birendra Sah and tied him to a tree and cleared the disputed road built on private land using a dozer.

In this incident, a complaint has been registered against five people including ward chairperson Yadav, locals Hema Yadav, Ram Babu Yadav, Mukesh Yadav, Sudip Yadav and Bisun Yadav for indecent treatment. The police are conducting a search operation to arrest them.
