A 55-year-old single woman from Katahariya Municipality-9 has been subjected to inhumane treatment. The incident of a neighbor accusing her of being a witch and beating her and forcing her to eat excrement has been made public. Police have arrested one person on Sunday after the incident.
According to the victim, a group including neighbors Gauri Shankar Sah had accused the minor of making her sick by casting witch spells.
