The Armed Police Force has removed the illegal open liquor shops and tents in the Dasgaja border area with India.

A team deployed from the Armed Police Border Security Force Alau, a team from the Amarpatti Police Post and a joint team from the Sashastra Seema Bal 47 Battalion 'C' Company Dhupatola under Sisuwa Gram Panchayat-1 in East Champaran district of India carried out the operation in the border area located in Prasaunibhatta, Bindabasini Rural Municipality-4 of Parsa.

The joint team used a dozer on the illegally operated structures by encroaching on the Dasgaja area. In the process, the Armed Police Force has informed that 5 tents, 3 open liquor shops and 1 brewery on the Nepal side and 3 tents on the Indian side were removed.

The construction of unauthorized structures and activities of selling liquor in the border area are increasing security and social problems, and the action has been taken in coordination with the security agencies of both countries to control such illegal activities, said Mohan Raj Niraula, Deputy Superintendent of Armed Police, Information Officer of the Armed Police Force No. 13 Battalion Headquarters, Parsa.

According to him, such joint monitoring and action will be continued to make border encroachment control and security management effective.
