A team from the Chandranigahapur Area Police Office arrested a person on Monday on charges of being a middleman from the Land Revenue Office in Chandrapur, Rautahat.
The District Police Office, Gaur, has said that 24-year-old Ritesh Kumar Yadav of Katahariya Municipality-9 has been taken into custody for causing unnecessary trouble to service recipients. Police say that Yadav has been active around the Land Revenue Office for a long time and was taken into custody after complaints of causing trouble to the general public increased. Police have informed that an investigation is underway against the arrested Yadav.
Earlier, the police had arrested four people for allegedly being involved in unnecessarily harassing service recipients at government offices in the district headquarters, Gaur. Police say that all of them are active in the role of middlemen.
