With the aim of enhancing the cleanliness, health and facilities of police personnel, a state-of-the-art toilet service with digital technology has been launched in Parsa under the concept of 'Smart Police'.
The modern bath and toilet building constructed in the premises of the District Police Office, Parsa was inaugurated during a program on Monday. It is claimed that a toilet with a digital system has been constructed for the first time in Nepal, embodying the main mantra that 'Cleanliness is the basis of health'.
At the inauguration program, Superintendent of Police Sudipraj Pathak expressed his belief that such infrastructure will have a positive impact on the health, hygiene and efficiency of police personnel. Rungta Welfare Society and Green City Community Police Service Center Adarshnagar have supported the construction of the structure. At the program, Green City Community Police Service Center Adarshnagar Chairman Jayaprakash Khetan said that the construction of such infrastructure that addresses the basic needs of police personnel is commendable. He expressed his belief that the structure with modern facilities will bring ease in daily work performance.
Suresh Rungta, treasurer of Rungta Welfare Society, said that the organization has been providing such assistance to keep the morale of the police high.
