”If the District Magistrate goes to the field and helps those who are not registered, whose citizenship is not valid due to wrinkled documents, whose names and surnames do not match, and whose records are yet to be maintained, the work will also be faster,” said a service recipient. ”When the District Magistrate himself takes the initiative, the responsibility for the work will also increase among the subordinate employees.”

Chief District Officer Dinesh Sagar Bhusal was found sitting at the citizenship field to distribute citizenship at the District Administration Office, Gaur, on Monday. He was asking service recipients whether there was any problem when they came to collect citizenship.

A service recipient said that this scene made the service recipients feel the presence of the state and also increased their trust in the administration. Chief District Officer Bhusal said that in some cases, it would be a great relief for the service recipients to provide citizenship not only at the office table, but also to the disabled, senior citizens or people with special conditions at their place.

‘If the district administrator goes to the field and helps those whose citizenship certificates are not valid due to irregularities, wrinkles, mismatched names and records, the work will be faster,’ said a service recipient. ‘When the district administrator himself takes the initiative, the responsibility towards the work will also increase among the subordinate employees.’

The direct involvement of key individuals in the distribution of sensitive and important documents like citizenship will help to eliminate the influence of middlemen, said Ramnaresh Sah, Deputy Subba of the Administration. ‘By doing this, the general public gets the opportunity to directly convey their problems to the guardians of the district,’ he said. ‘Such actions will also inspire administrators of other districts to provide citizen-friendly services.’
