Daughter-in-law and her sister have been arrested on charges of murdering their mother-in-law.

Daughter-in-law Pinki Devi Srivastava, 30, and her sister Gayatri Srivastava, 19, have been arrested on charges of murdering 65-year-old Sayeda Srivastava of Jirabhavani Rural Municipality-1, Pipara. Sayeda was found dead at home on Monday afternoon. Locals allege that Pinki and her sister Gayatri also beat Sayeda during a long-standing domestic dispute on Monday.

Police arrived and took both of them into custody. Both the murder accused are currently in the custody of the District Police Office, Parsa, and have been sent to Narayani Hospital for an autopsy, informed DSP Hari Bahadur Basnet, spokesperson of the District Police Office, Parsa.
