A businessman has been arrested in Rautahat on charges of unfair transactions. The District Police Office, Gaur, has said that businessman Ram Babu Prasad Kalwar of Chandrapur-4 has been arrested.
An arrest warrant was issued against Kalwar in the case of unfair transactions by the District Court based on the complaint of victim Ram Babu Mahato. Police have said that he was arrested and produced in court.
Kalwar's case, which was presented in court on Wednesday, was postponed due to lack of time and is being presented in court again on Thursday.
In the past, Kalwar, who has been repeatedly reported to the police on charges of metered rate trading, has also been accused of dual citizenship. The Metered Rate Trading Struggle Committee had also been demanding that action be taken against him.
