Congress leader Kamaleshwar Sinha was attacked in Balra Municipality-4, Sarlahi's constituency no. 4.
The attack took place while he was sitting in a car with his son and grandson on the road in Balra-4. The victim has accused Gopesh Kumar Singh, nephew of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) MP Amresh Kumar Singh and National Investigation Office (NIO) Dhanusha's informant, and Pankaj Kumar Jha of Balra-4 of the attack. Sinha, who was injured in the attack, has been admitted to the hospital for treatment. The vehicle, however, suffered minor damage.
Deputy Superintendent of Police Saroj Rai said that no information has been received about the incident.
Regarding this incident, Nepali Congress Sarlahi Constituency No. 4 has demanded the administration to take legal action against the culprits.
